    [SOLVED] USB Parallel Printer Cable Setup

    Hi all, have been trying to install an HP Laserjet 4000 printer using an USB to Parallel Cable with no success. lsusb outputs Cypress Technologies usb connector. My system is a Compaq Presario Laptop, 1.7 GHz Celeron M, 1.5 Gb RAM, 80 GB HDD. I am running Hardy 8.04, latest kernel. TIA
